Støtte til bredbåndsutbygging i Vestfold fylke

Vestfold fylkeskommune publishes this scheme on its own broadband page (Bredbånd) under Næring. The page describes the public support for broadband rollout (offentlig støtte til bredbåndsutbygging) that the county administers and to which municipalities apply.

The page states the funding chain and who applies: "Fylkeskommunen har ansvaret for den offentlige støtten til bredbåndsutbygging i Vestfold. Stortinget bevilger hvert år en sum til ordningen gjennom statsbudsjettet som fordeles på hvert fylke, og ordningen administreres av Nasjonal kommunikasjonsmyndighet (Nkom). Fylkeskommunen får et årlig tilskudd og kommunene i Vestfold søker fylkeskommunen om støtte til utbyggingsprosjekter." ("The county is responsible for the public support for broadband rollout in Vestfold. Each year the Storting allocates a sum to the scheme through the national budget, which is distributed to each county, and the scheme is administered by the Norwegian Communications Authority (Nkom). The county receives an annual grant, and the municipalities in Vestfold apply to the county for support for rollout projects.") The applicants on the county's own page are therefore the municipalities of Vestfold (kommunene i Vestfold), applying for support to broadband rollout projects (utbyggingsprosjekter).

On the funding allocated for 2025 the page states: "Rammen for tildeling av bredbåndsmidler for Vestfold i 2025 var 11.938.136 kroner." ("The framework for the allocation of broadband funds for Vestfold in 2025 was NOK 11,938,136.") On the results it states: "Totalt får 106 husstander i Vestfold tilbud om nytt eller forbedret bredbånd gjennom tildelingene i 2025. Den samlede offentlige støtten for 2025 utgjør 8.203.841 kroner (statlige midler)." ("In total 106 households in Vestfold receive an offer of new or improved broadband through the 2025 allocations. The combined public support for 2025 amounts to NOK 8,203,841 (state funds).")

On the next round the page states: "Rammen for tildeling av bredbåndsmidler ventes satt i første kvartal 2026." ("The framework for the allocation of broadband funds is expected to be set in the first quarter of 2026.") No application deadline, opening date, or per-project award amount is printed on the page, so those fields are left null.
