Strengthening Organisations

Strengthening Organisations is a funding programme of The National Lottery Community Fund for Scotland. It supports organisations to "try out new ideas and ways of working" and to "develop their organisation and improve their current work".

The page states that applicants must be organisations that "currently have funding from us for one or more projects", working with people affected by poverty, disadvantage or discrimination and involving those people in designing how they work. The page states: "We do not fund the staffing or delivery of existing services, or the expansion of these services to new locations."

Grants are for amounts from £300 to £50,000, for organisations of any size, for up to 2 years.

The programme status is "Open to applications", with a stated decision time of 12 weeks. Applications are made through the online application portal.
